From the city to the vast regions of Western Australia and the tropics of the Northern Territory, David has worked on a range of projects in some of the most beautiful and challenging regions of Australia. Guiding our Water, Geosciences and Environment teams in the Western Australia and Northern Territory offices, David has witnessed a significant evolution in the operation and closure of mines. Now, there is a strong focus on remediation and community consultation with traditional owners, which David wholeheartedly supports.
His comprehensive experience in closures has allowed him to work on major projects in various sectors including defence, energy, mining and resources. Among these complex projects is David’s recent innovative work and involvement in the Argyle Diamond Mine Closure in the remote Pilbara of Western Australia, from the early feasibility study phase and now through to closure execution.
Outside of working, in the office, at home or on project sites, David enjoys spending time with his family, and exploring the rugged coastline of Western Australia.
