Mark loves seeing people reach their destination. Whether it's trains from station to station or traffic through roadways, he helps develop creative solutions for getting people where they need to go. As a civil design lead, he supports our efforts in expanding how Arizonans can efficiently and safely travel from place to place.
Having worked in Arizona for more than 20 years, Mark has been instrumental in delivering local municipal transportation projects, including light rail, people movers, pavement programs, and construction management at risk projects. Notably, he has been a key player on multiple Valley Metro light rail projects, such as the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport’s Sky Train and the Northwest Light Rail Extension and Tempe Streetcar .
From checking the boxes off of every National Park—the Grand Canyon is his favorite—to using clues and coordinates for geocaching to combining his love of math, science, and problem-solving, Mark always tries to put all the pieces together.
