Kip’s goal is to develop value-engineered and sustainable solutions that innovate through collaboration. He believes that a passion for design is contagious, and that the best reward is to see the whole team share enthusiasm—delivering the best projects, for the best clients, with the best people.
With a successful track record of building teams, collaborating across business lines, and delivering award winning infrastructure projects, Kip brings a balance of technical leadership and a passion for the continued growth of our market position in commercial ports. He also manages multi-disciplinary major projects with a focus on enhancing the supply chain including his current assignment as Stantec’s design manager of the owner’s engineer team for Port of Vancouver on the Roberts Bank Terminal 2 project.
Kip’s past work includes design of Low Level Road Project in North Vancouver, Fairview Phase 2B Feasibility Study in Prince Rupert, and the Port of Vancouver’s Greater Vancouver Gateway 2030 Program. When he’s not at work, Kip spends his free time enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends, which includes skiing, cycling, hiking, tennis, golf, hockey, and coaching his kids’ sports teams.
