Declan is trusted by clients to lead complex mobility and transportation projects when the stakes are high. Working across cities, venues, and major events, he leads transportation planning and engineering projects for public and private sector organizations from strategy through delivery. He’s known for his collaborative approach, working comfortably across disciplines, agencies, stakeholders, and the public.
Originally from New Zealand with a formative chapter in Australia, Declan now works from Stantec’s New York City office across the United States. and Canada, helping drive the growth of the firm’s venue and event mobility practice. He has advised on major venues and events including the Australian Open, the Australian and Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and UBS Arena. Within the Company, Declan also previously served as Global Lead for the Developing Professionals Group (DPG), overseeing the network across 22 countries.
Away from work, Declan is a former Irish dancing world champion, enjoys traveling, and is active in his local community.
