Melanie is a registered landscape architect who strive to create spaces that cater to their unique users while also considering the wider environment and sustainability objectives.
Melissa is a senior structural designer with Stantec’s Mining, Minerals and Metals group. She creates 3D models and 2D drawings for safe, efficient delivery of mining infrastructure including conveyors, platforms, and equipment supports.
With over 20 years of experience, Melissa’s advocacy for sustainable infrastructure drives her work to positively impact the communities supported by her projects.
An environmental scientist and botanist by trade, Melissa spends the majority of her time securing grant funding for clients through opportunities such as the North American Funding Program.
Melissa is experienced in program and project management, project controls, and business process. She develops and implements best practice processes and has provided customized program controls and risk management implementations and training.
With 12 years of experience as a Professional Wetland Scientist, Melissa divides her time at Stantec between watershed/stormwater planning and natural resource investigation projects.
