Ian leads the Tauranga transport team and has many years’ experience in civil projects, including leading multi-disciplinary teams for the investigation, design and construction of a wide range of infrastructure projects.
Design, safety and project management of public infrastructure projects take advantage of his broad experience, and Ian also represents private developments through the resource management process which includes presentation at Environment Court hearings. He also regularly undertakes road safety audits for the New Zealand Transport Agency and local authorities on public infrastructure projects.
Ian’s diverse background covers all aspects of transport, and the things he likes best about his job are solving problems and improving safety outcomes on projects.
At work Ian doesn’t take any risks so outside of it he goes skiing and mountain biking!
