Stantec’s 2025 Movember Campaign Raises $70K for Men’s Health

December 30, 2025

Our employees united during Movember to raise $70,000 for men’s health through fundraising, events, and global engagement

We’re proud to celebrate the incredible impact of our company-wide Movember fundraising campaign last month. Across Stantec, 15 teams came together to raise an impressive $48,590 CAD. With Stantec matches, a total of $70,000 CAD will be donated to help fund men’s health projects around the world.

Employees grew mustaches, organized events, and raised donations to spark conversations about men’s health. Thanks to this collective effort, we not only raised vital funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention, but also strengthened our culture of care and community. This campaign has shown that when we unite behind a cause, we can make a lasting difference—proving that every mustache grown and every dollar donated helps change the face of men’s health for the better.

Once again, our Calgary, Alberta office took a fun and fiery approach to Movember fundraising. This year’s “Not So Chilly Challenge” raised $1,345. This year’s event raised $700 more than last year’s “Blazing Burger” challenge.

Also surpassing last year’s fundraising total was the Texas Staches team comprised of staff from multiple offices across the state. “Mustache Mirrors” were set up allowing colleagues to pick a mustache (or show off their grown one), strike a pose, and capture the moment. Meaningful information was posted around the mirrors, turning a simple photo opportunity into an engaging and educational moment. The team was able to raise awareness and spark meaningful conversations throughout the month while raising $2,182 supporting a cause that matters deeply to them.

“Movember is more than a month on the calendar,” Javier Rosero, team captain of the Texas Staches team said. “It is an annual reminder to open our eyes, check in on one another, and stay committed to men’s health all year long. And that commitment does not end here.”

Excitement was high outside of North America as well. Keeping focus on men’s health, Team Stantec-Oxford set an ambitious goal of collectively moving 1,000 kilometres (621 miles) over the month of November to help bring people together and drive fundraising. Consistently, a group headed out on their lunch break for runs. By November 27, before the November 30 deadline, the team hit their target while raising £721! This surpassed their goal of £500 and put the team fourth on Stantec’s global Movember leaderboard, just shy of their aim to beat the Stantec Australia team which brought in $1,048.

A special shout out to Randy Sinukoff in our Markham, Ontario office for being inducted into the Movember Canada Hall of Fame! This recognition celebrates supporters who have raised at least $50,000 over their Movember journey. Randy has achieved this with an incredible $83,109. “I don’t fundraise and increase awareness to be recognized like this, but I certainly appreciate it. I do what I do to help men improve their health and have a fulfilling life with family and friends,” Randy said.

By uniting for Movember, we’ve shown that every mustache grown, and every dollar donated helps change the face of men’s health—and together, we’ve made a lasting difference. We extend our heartfelt thanks to every participant and supporter. Your passion, creativity, and generosity are what made this campaign such a success. And as we look ahead, we’re excited to build on this momentum and make an even greater impact in the years to come.
