Stantec awarded prestigious RoSPA Order of Distinction

Stantec have been awarded the Order of Distinction from the internationally renowned Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK.
Our third Order of Distinction celebrates our team achieving the RoSPA Gold Award for 17 consecutive years and is testimony to our health, safety and wellbeing practices and continued commitment to ensuring that everyone goes home safely at the end of the working day.
RoSPA is a British charity whose vision is drawn from our respect for life and all that it contains. It recognises commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill-health prevention at work. Through the scheme, judges consider entrants' overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Chris Sutton, Director Global HSSE Operations, said; “This is our third Order of Distinction in recognition of Stantec UK achieving the RoSPA Gold Award for 17 consecutive years. Stantec will be presented with this prestigious award at the 2020 RoSPA Health and Safety Awards presentation ceremony and gala dinner at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel at a date yet to be determined due to the current COVID-19 situation.
