Stantec shortlisted for two Water Industry Awards
Stantec shortlisted for Water Industry Consultant of the Year and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) Project of the Year

We are proud to announce that Stantec have been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s prestigious Water Industry Awards.
Stantec is a finalist in the categories; Water Industry Consultant of the Year and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) Project of the Year.
In recognition of the growth in Stantec’s consultancy business in the UK and securing major consultancy appointments in the Water industry for AMP7 period (2020-2025), Stantec has been recognised as a major contender and nominated for the Water Industry Consultant of the Year.
In addition, Stantec’s DfMA Project of the Year submission showcased the King’s Scholars Pond sewer rehabilitation project which involved ‘innovative keyhole engineering’ to rehabilitate a Victorian underground structure in one of London’s busiest areas. Stantec’s design team worked in close collaboration with Thames Water, the eight2O delivery team, London Underground and Transport for London for 4 years, to develop an innovative solution to extend the life of the pipe bridge by 120 years.
Organised by Water & Wastewater Treatment (WWT), the Water Industry Awards celebrate and reward outstanding achievement and innovation in the UK water industry.

The winners will be revealed in a virtual ceremony taking place on Thursday 30 July, 4pm - 5pm.
