Stantec shortlisted in New Civil Engineer Graduate and Apprentice Awards
Three of Stantec’s developing professionals shortlisted in industry leading awards

Stantec is proud to announce that three of its talented developing professionals have been shortlisted in this year’s prestigious New Civil Engineer Graduate & Apprentice Awards. The finalists are:
- Apprentice of the year - Caitlin Sutherland
- Apprentice of the year - Sanil Hirani
- Graduate of the year - Lucy Ashen
The New Civil Engineer Graduate & Apprentice Awards are designed to recognise and reward the most inspiring civil engineering graduates, apprentices and degree apprentices. With the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference taking place in the UK, the role the industry plays in combating climate change in the future will be firmly under the spotlight.
For this year’s awards, candidates shared their amazing career and work experiences so far, but also described what outcomes they want from COP26 and how they would use this to drive change across the industry and supply chain over the next five years.
The winners will be announced at an in-person presentation ceremony at the Institution of Civil Engineers, London on Friday 26 November.
