Aaron Oakes shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year in Consultancy & Engineering Awards
Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) Awards 2022 announce finalists

Stantec is delighted to announce that Aaron Oakes has been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year at this year’s prestigious ACE Consultancy and Engineering Awards.
Aaron, an Engineering Technician with Stantec UK, has helped to deliver various flood risk projects for Northumbrian Water. Aaron is also collaborating on digital innovations with his local hydraulic modelling team, which are already bringing cost benefits to clients and improved resource efficiency.
The Consultancy and Engineering Awards, organised by the ACE, celebrate outstanding achievements and champion the best people, projects and companies from the world of engineering, consultancy and the built environment.
The Apprentice of the Year award recognises those who have shown outstanding progress and commitment to their personal development. Candidates must demonstrate they have made a positive difference in their business and a commitment to inspire others to follow apprenticeships in STEM subjects.
On his shortlisting Aaron commented: “I’m delighted to be on the shortlist for Apprentice of The Year and thrilled that my progress and achievements have been recognised in the industry. I feel very lucky to be part of a team who support my development whilst working on a diverse range of projects.”
All the shortlisted nominees have now been announced and the final winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on 3 November 2022, in London.
