Stantec launches largest UK & Ireland recruitment drive

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has launched its largest ever recruitment campaign in the UK and Ireland.

The firm employs more than 26,000 people worldwide and as part of its ambitious growth journey is expanding its 3000 strong work force in the UK and Ireland. There are currently over 250 positions available for both experienced professionals and for those starting their careers in the industry.

In the UK, the firm is hiring across its energy, water, transport, buildings, community development, asset management, programme management and environmental services teams. Stantec is looking for engineers, designers, planners, economists, and programme managers who share the company’s vision for carbon neutrality.

The recruitment drive follows a stellar year for the firm, which has seen Stantec grow its business across the UK and Ireland through several key client and framework wins. The firm recently announced it had secured £71.5 million in levelling up funding for local authorities to drive forward vital infrastructure projects. 

Stantec also celebrated success at a number of industry awards including the British Construction Industry, Utility Week and Royal Town Planning Institute Awards.

Stantec was recently named one of the most sustainable corporations in the world by Corporate Knights, ranking 7th globally and first in its industry. The rankings placed Stantec among the top one percent for corporations based on sustainability performance.
