Due to our involvement in other high-profile projects in Birmingham city centre, we were asked to prepare a proposal for an updated planning application for University College Birmingham’s Charlotte Street Campus.
Working with constricted site access within an urban environment, Stantec provided structural, civil, and geotechnical consultancy services to redevelop the Chesterfield Hospital—with a sympathetic transformation of a Grade II listed building.
We contributed planning and environmental impact support for a proposed 9.2 kilometre wastewater treatment pipeline for the community of Chichester and its impending residential growth.
The installation of a 6.1 kilometre pipe from Lark Hill reservoir to Childrey Warren Water Treatment Works helped uncover several sites of incredible historical and archaeological value and introduce more sustainable water sources.
