Manama, Bahrain
The origins of the word Bahrain mean something akin to “two seas”. An apt description given that—in this island nation—water’s never too far from our line of sight, or our minds. In fact, it dominates our days.
Though surrounded by water, Bahrain’s got a desert climate. Combine that with a dense, and growing, population, and there’s always work to be done. Since 1975, our team’s worked to deliver a range of services including water policy, network, pump station, and treatment plant design. Most recently, we’ve completed projects like the Ma-Ameer Sewage Treatment Plant (MEED Sustainable Project of the Year National Winner 2017) to connect previously un-serviced areas to the sewerage networks. This helps to improve environmental and public health standards. Importantly, it also lifts the quality of life for our community, a vivid blend of Bahraini nationals and expatriates alike.
