We coordinated and developed the business case for the Falkirk Grangemouth Investment Zone Growth Deal submission
We’ve worked with Falkirk Council, Scottish Enterprise, and its business partners over the last three years to build a vision for the area to 2040. In 2017, we developed the Future of Grangemouth Vision outlining what the area hopes to achieve—including smart city status for Falkirk & Grangemouth—further industry, government collaboration, and improved road and rail infrastructure at Grangemouth Port.
In April 2018, we led preparation of the strategic case for the Falkirk Grangemouth Investment Zone, which aims to position the area as a world leader in sustainable and innovative manufacturing (which embody low impact processes and heat and energy distribution) and develop the wider Falkirk area as a regional business centre. We then worked closely with government and business stakeholders to develop the innovation, infrastructure, and place projects further. With a clear programme of projects, and submission of the £235 million Falkirk Grangemouth Investment Zone proposal for growth deal funding in September 2019, our team is helping the area and its key industries map the path to a prosperous 2040.
