Northeastern University Biopharmaceutical Analysis Training Laboratory
Located in Northeastern University’s Mixed-Use Research Building in Burlington, Massachusetts, the Biopharmaceutical Analysis Training Laboratory (BATL) offers hands-on training in regulatory operations for the commercial life sciences industry. BATL’s experiential learning and credentialing programs provide a neutral, globally recognized platform to train the next generation of biopharmaceutical professionals. Northeastern University engaged our team to provide design, engineering, and sustainability consulting services for this fit-out.
Our design for the facility includes research labs, cell culture spaces, mass spectrometry, a mock current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) facility, and a 50-person training classroom. These spaces will help prepare professionals for the complex regulatory landscape of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.
With collaborative spaces and industry-aligned training, BATL bridges academia and industry, training a highly skilled workforce ready to drive innovation and compliance in life sciences.
