Specializing in inflow and infiltration (I&I) studies and sanitary sewer evaluations studies (SSES), Joe is a senior principal with over three decades of experience in the design and evaluation of municipal sanitary and stormwater infrastructure.
A vice president and project manager focused on our global Water practice, Joe has delivered everything from drainage studies to comprehensive master plans and major infrastructure design projects.
A chartered structural engineer and leader of Stantec’s Structural team, Joe has experience with design and documentation of infrastructure projects in water and civil infrastructure, transportation, mining, and commercial and residential sectors.
A biologist focused on benthic invertebrates, Joe has over 20 years of experience completing surveys, relocations, and environmental impact work. He also founded and manages Stantec’s benthic ecology laboratory.
As a seasoned land surveyor applying modern surveying techniques, Joe manages a wide range of projects, from residential and commercial land development to parks and recreational facilities, utility, roadway, and rail projects.
As bridge group leader for Stantec’s Raleigh office, Joe provides cost-effective engineering solutions for this critical infrastructure—addressing design for both new and aging bridge structures across the Carolinas
Working with our urban development business, Joe leads the Civil Engineering team in Victoria. He brings over 25 years of experience to his role and has worked in private and government sectors.
