Innovation Festival 2025
Join us at this year’s Innovation Festival as we collaborate with industry partners and delve into topics like nature-based solutions, carbon reduction and inflow and infiltration ingress.
See you in Newcastle!
We’re excited to be back at Newcastle Racecourse for the 2025 Innovation Festival from the 7 to 10 July. This year, the week-long event looks to embrace regeneration as a singular mindset to create a better future
In 2025 we are hosting three collaborative sprints, each tackling an industry challenge, enabling innovation, pushing boundaries, and striving for positive change.
Grey-to-Green
Led by Stantec, Aqua Consultants, and Jacobs, in this sprint we look at how we might rethink Long-Life Infrastructure for a Regenerative Future? As we maintain our existing asset base how can we retrofit, adapt, or augment our existing grey assets to move them to be lower carbon intensive making them greener—functionally, visually, and environmentally? Learn More | RegisterCarbon Culture Club
In partnership with Esh Stantec and Galliford Try, this sprint asks how might we create a compelling communications and engagement framework that empowers NWG staff, partners, and stakeholders to understand and implement the ambitions of the Carbon 5-Point Plan? Learn More | RegisterIngress-Ception
Led by Stantec and Jacobs this sprint will look at how might we proactively identify the sources of inflow and infiltration ingress to the sewer network and what are the viable and innovative solutions to this problem? Learn More | RegisterIdeas
