Welcome to New Haven

Here in the New Haven office, we’re a collection of eclectic and driven people who’re devoted to our jobs and our community. The small size of our office allows us to stay unified throughout the entire design process, while our broad understanding of the multiple departments within our office promotes a creativity that results in more integrated and effective solutions for our clients.

Every project we’re involved in is personal to us because this is where we live, work, and play. From restoring wetlands and creating recreational trails to building bridges and inspecting railways, we’re committed to improving the health and prosperity of the community we come from.

When our talented and dynamic staff get together, the possibilities are endless. Small office, big impact—this is who we are, and this is the result you can always expect.

Meet Our Team

Thomas Hammerberg, Landscape Architect

In our work, you get to be a designer and quite often an end user. Enhancing and beautifying our communities is what landscape architects do.

Kent Gannon, Associate

Professional satisfaction comes when careful consideration of user needs results in an enhanced quality of life for the whole community.

Jeff Olszewski, Associate, Project Manager

When I transform a vision into reality, I respect the importance of the built environment and relish the excitement of getting there.

Andrew Lessard, Principal

After all the analyses and studies are done, don’t be afraid to recognize that—often—the simplest solution is the best and most elegant.

John Eberle, Principal

When I see the positive impact our constructed projects have on communities, I am extremely proud of how much our work matters.

Travis Ewen, Associate

I seek to blend issues of ecology, resilience, mobility and promote access to beautiful and meaningful open space for all.

Phillip Champagne, Landscape Architect

Nothing is as rewarding as creating a public amenity, bringing the community’s vision to fruition and enhancing quality of life.

Gary Sorge , Vice President, Community Development, Discipline Leader (Landscape Architecture)
