Broomfield, Colorado
Welcome to Broomfield
You’ll find our Broomfield office in the Interlocken Advanced Technology Environment, a 900-acre business park purpose-built to give leading companies the facilities they need to thrive. For a community-minded, environmentally conscious company like Stantec, it’s an ideal locale—proximity to Denver International Airport and the state’s capital city reduces our travel impacts, and the breathtaking views of the Flatirons can’t be beat.
This office has a special heritage: it was the headquarters location for MWH, a 7,000-person firm acquired by Stantec in 2016. Today, the office still houses a state-of-the-art, in-house corporate learning and meeting center.
The same technical specialists and a range of business personnel—from accounting to communications, human resources to legal, and beyond—continue to enrich our company and the local community from this location, just as they’ve done every day since 1998. We are better together.
Mario Finis, Executive Vice President, Energy & Resources - North America
Hydropower and dams are challenging. It takes passion and patience, but the payoff is knowing our work improves peoples’ lives for generations.
Amy Broughton, Principal, North America Funding Program, US West Lead
I want to hear about the context and issues before I start problem solving. Only then can we see the underlying patterns and opportunities.

I am genuinely interested in what keeps our mining clients up at night—I strive to find a solution before my clients need an answer.
Jeff Schulz, Vice President, Water Program Management
The most rewarding experience for me is working as an extension of our clients’ staff to help them achieve success for their programs.
Melissa McDaniel, Principal, Program Controls Manager
My goal is to implement user friendly controls systems that track all of my clients' desired metrics.
Patrick Corser, Discipline Leader, Tailings and Water
Managing is about two things—serving the client and helping the next generation of engineers achieve their full potential.
Gavin Gilchrist, Vice President, Program Development
Stay curious and ask yourself why you are doing something—always look at things from the perspective of others.
Keil Neff, Principal
I love using the latest science and technology to develop flood risk and consequences information to help clients make informed decisions.
