The best part about Bill’s job is that he gets to build bridges—and not just the solid structural kind. As a senior project manager in our Lexington office, Bill likes the fact that he can help build bridges between communities, between Stantec and its communities, and between Stantec’s own internal community.
His keen interest in building bridges has allowed him to take on various roles from structural engineer-in-training to senior project manager. In his current role, he manages and leads large bridge teams, and acts as their representative to clients and other disciplines. His technical and relationship skills were useful in the SH 288 Toll Lanes project in Harris County, Texas. As the overall bridge lead, he was responsible for coordinating bridge design on this complex P3 project, which involved 53 bridges and 13 Stantec offices.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys building connections with his family and friends, staying fit, and visiting historical sites.
