Hawley Beaugrand

Photo of Hawley

Growing Stantec’s geohazard and geomorphology services in Western Canada, Hawley leads numerous pipeline monitoring programs, produces assessments for fluvial (riverine), terrain, and coastal geohazards, provides services for community development, and mentors developing professionals. Excited by the opportunities a geoscience related career offers to explore remote work locations, her career began on Vancouver Island in the field of LiDAR remote sensing and progressed to seasonal mine exploration in the Yukon. In 2017, she relocated to Kamloops, British Columbia, and joined our geotechnical team.

With over a decade of experience, Hawley is passionate about building both geohazard-resilient communities and industries. She applies and develops leading-edge geomorphological solutions and ensures project outcomes and implications are effectively communicated, ensuring comprehensive assessments for clients.

Enjoying the outdoors, Hawley likes to garden, hike, camp, and cook in her spare time. As a previous member of the Maud Collective and board member for Calgary River Valleys, she is eager to get involved in the Kamloops community.
