A transport generalist— planning, modelling and engineering—Chris leads projects and facilitates development of our Sydney team. A visionary, he influences early designs where he can see how the community will benefit from the outcome.
Chris is known for his communication style that adds a personal approach to doing business. This approach carries through stakeholder engagement with various local and state authorities, and he enjoys the challenge of synthesising different views for best-for-network outcomes.
Pedestrian modelling is a niche skill and one he’s well known for at Stantec. For one of many projects, Chris delivered the degraded modes modelling for the Sydney Metro Epping to Chatswood rail line closure, helping inform the pedestrian management plans for response times should precincts become overcrowded.
Chris enjoys following sport and participating where he can, in particular Australian football and sailing.
