Specializing in the analysis and design of steel and concrete structures, Awais has over 22 years of experience working on a diverse range of large-scale infrastructure. These have included projects in the transportation and railway sectors, ranging from buildings and bridges to culverts and earth retaining structures.
His project work has included the Western Roads upgrade, West Gate tunnel project, and Melbourne Metro as well as numerous proof engineering projects for South Eastern Project Alliance, Western Project Alliance, and North East Link Early Works. Awais is proud to have worked on major projects that have had significant social impacts on Victorians, benefiting communities with shorter commute times and reduced road congestion.
Outside the day to day, you might find Awais spending time with his family exploring the great outdoors, from the bayside beaches of Port Phillip Bay to the high country alpine regions of Victoria.
