Caitlin has spent 10 years developing her knowledge and experience in energy conservation, energy modelling, and integrated design. She manages and coordinates projects and advocates for sustainable buildings, increasing awareness internally and externally. From proposal pursuits to business development, Caitlin aims to build the energy and sustainable design strategy for Stantec.
Her work has included energy auditing in various sectors, energy management and analysis, energy code review, and carbon-neutral and net-zero energy studies. On one project, Cait used IES VE to model selected energy conservation design to help the Municipality of the County of Kings explore a 25% building energy performance improvement (over the NECB 2015 baseline). She was able to outline an estimated 30% or better improvement within construction budget.
When she isn’t making our built environment more sustainable, Caitlin is working on her MBA with a focus in leadership and professional development. Between work and studying, she spends her free time cooking (her specialties are chocolate chip cookies and goat cheese seafood linguine) and taking advantage of local restaurants.
