Adam specialises in aquatic ecology with a focus on freshwater and estuarine ecosystems. He is passionate about ensuring the sustainable management of our inland waterways, creating awareness of wetland conservation, and protecting and enhancing waterways.
As a certified environmental practitioner (CEnvP) and principal environmental scientist, Adam leads projects from our Brisbane and Perth offices in our mining, government, and community sectors. He’s been consulting for 15 years, applying focus to water and sediment quality and aquatic flora and fauna assessments. He also leads a range of studies that help provide a scientific understanding of various ecosystem outcomes based on water management strategies. Working alongside industry partners, Adam is helping develop a revolutionary real-time eDNA tool that will bring the lab into the field.
When Adam’s not working, you’ll most likely find him down the local creek or waterway with his two sons, flipping rocks and checking out the resident macroinvertebrate fauna.
