With a background in civil engineering, Russ has over 25 years of experience in flood assessments, mitigation, and repair. Following the 2013 flood event in southern Alberta, he oversaw the mobilization of over 100 Stantec staff to respond to our clients’ requests during this state of emergency.
Few people have Russ’s level of insight into the nature, contributing factors, behavior, and resulting damage of flood activity. He serves as a trusted advisor to help the Province of Alberta deliver on their commitment to respond and prepare proactively for any future flood events.
