Theo has planned and designed a multitude of successful and award-winning projects throughout his 30-year career, and he’s truly passionate regarding design for education. Intrigued by the integration of core academic knowledge with occupational knowledge in educational settings, Theo has developed an expertise in the planning and design of Career and Technical Education facilities.
His portfolio of work includes the recently completed renovation and addition to the Genesee Career Institute in Flint, Michigan, and conceptual design of a new 115,000 square foot Career Technical Education Center for Saline County in Benton, Arkansas. Additionally, his experience and portfolio include many performing and fine arts projects. Theo regularly speaks at local, regional, and national conferences regarding these topics as well as how great design positively impacts communities.
Theo and his wife Geri, an educator, often work together on various educational initiatives in the community. Theo enjoys astronomy, playing the piano, and loves mid-century modern art and architecture.
