Friendly and responsive, Peter is known for his communication skills, policy expertise and ability to create pragmatic, cost effective solutions to clients’ archaeological needs. While experienced in all manner of archaeological projects triggered by the Environmental Assessment Act and the Renewable Energy process, as well as projects falling under NEB purview, Peter’s passion lies in urban archaeology, typically falling under the Planning Act.
Working with the development industry, Peter ensures the conservation of heritage in Ontario by linking current developments to ones from the past. Recently, he project managed the St. Lawrence Market North archaeological excavation in Toronto. Peter was nominated for a Heritage Toronto Public History Award for his contributions to this project!
When he’s not busy working at the office or leading a team to uncover Ontario’s history, you’ll find Peter enjoying a craft beer (or two), or spending time with his family in Toronto’s east end.
