Photo of Jamie

Overseeing teams for major capital projects across New Zealand, Jamie is known by clients and colleagues as a great project leader.

Jamie draws on his 20 years of industry experience and his master’s degrees in both civil and transport engineering to solve complex community issues with technical solutions. Most recently, Jamie led the design work on the $120million State Highway 58 safety improvements—recognised as one of New Zealand’s most dangerous roads. He’s also the design lead on the $1.5billion Otaki to Levin project, a four-lane expressway which is 25km in length.

Currently, Jamie is the Manu Taiko consortium design manager, leading over 20 project teams from multiple firms. Together, they’re helping deliver over $5billion transformational road safety upgrades around New Zealand, helping meet road safety targets. In addition, he’s a trusted witness to the environment court, having provided evidence to design and construction activity.

Jamie likes to keep fit and is an avid runner, he averages 30-40 kilometres a week!
