A civil and environmental engineer, Eric has ten years of progressive design and project management experience primarily focusing on water and sanitation projects. He holds leadership roles in two cross-disciplinary teams at Stantec: the alternative delivery group responsible for providing guidance and support to design-build opportunities across the globe, and the international development group.
Eric enjoys solving complex sanitation and civil engineering challenges—from large domestic design-build projects to context sensitive designs in developing countries—and is a bio-solid and fecal sludge management expert. His work in sanitation includes serving as the Deputy Chief of Party for a USAID Water Resources, Sanitation, and Irrigation Knowledge Management Support Task Order and he was the project manager for the design of Sanivation’s innovative septage treatment and bio-mass briquetting factory in Kenya.
Eric is a proponent of strong team dynamics and coordinates large teams to enhance project outcome by building strong relationships, listening to and understanding each stakeholder’s different points of view.
