A new non-gaming boutique hotel is slated to begin construction in downtown Las Vegas
The design intent for ZLIFE Hotel, a new boutique hotel located within the city’s vibrant Arts District, was to create a mosaic influenced by a variety of people and experiences. Our design delivers a nuanced environment where guests and locals are encouraged to intermix while working, relaxing, or enjoying the amenities. Also, this new development is intentionally non-gaming.
The four-story, 38,000 square foot boutique hotel offers 74 rooms, a pool deck, and a boutique restaurant. ZLIFE provides guests with a unique pedestrian-oriented hotel option in contrast to the usual mega-resorts and iconic grandeur of the Las Vegas strip. The design draws from a wide range of influences, but clearly has ties to the red rock landscapes, neon history, and arts. The building itself aims to be art unto itself, while offering a handful of large-scale art billboards planned to be a canvas for the growing local art scene.
The hotel will appeal to a youthful crowd and is a welcome new investment in the flourishing Arts District of Las Vegas. Currently under construction, ZLIFE has an expected completion date of December 2019.
