An upgraded cancer center to improve healthcare for the community of Lakeland
Already recognized by the American Institute of Architects with an Unbuilt Design Award, the Hollis Cancer Center is making waves. Lakeland Regional Health selected us to handle their project management services because we know how to draw the best out of each team member and establish proper processes and protocols.
In this two-phase project of expansion and renovation, we monitored the schedule, controlled the budget, and advised during key decision making. Phase one was comprised of a building expansion, 40 new chemotherapy stations, a 250-seat education and meeting space, a new lobby and entrance, and relocations for the current lab, pharmacy, chapel, catering, café, and staff lounge.
The second phase included a minor renovation to the med-oncology department including the installation of a new, state-of-the-art Varian Truebeam STC (Linear Accelerator) and BrainLab Novalis (Radiosurgery).
With our assistance, this upgraded cancer center will help Lakeland Regional Health improve lives in an exceptional space.
