Herbert is our social infrastructure sector leader in our Melbourne office specialising in fire protection services. His enthusiasm shines through the high quality work he contributes to across multiple sectors, including but not limited to building services, environmentally sustainable design (ESD), building information modelling (BIM), and fire safety engineering.
Experienced in interpreting the National Construction Code (NCC), the Building Code of Australia (BCA), and relevant standards, Herbert produces fire services designs that are both compliant and cost-effective. He not only understands the needs of authorities and clients but also—most importantly—the need to provide safety to people while protecting assets and the environment. He has been involved in the design of several systems, including fire sprinkler, detection, alarm, and suppression systems, hydrant and hose reels, hydraulic calculation, and more. In addition to design, he is skilled in preparing block and tactical fire plans and conducting fire systems audits.
Herbert’s passions outside of work include spending quality time with family, exercizing and travelling.
