As a business leader for our Environmental Services group, Amit provides leadership to people and projects and is responsible for business performance, growth, and management of client portfolios. He has provided environmental specialist and technical input for key stakeholders including Seqwater, Tina Hydro, Urban Utilities, Townsville Regional Council, and the Gladstone Area Water Board.
Amit’s most rewarding project to date involved the integration of operations of all source assets within the scope of the corporate environmental system for Seqwater’s Environment and Cultural Heritage Unit. This significant project included an asset base encompassing 26 dams, 51 weirs, and irrigation and water supply schemes with their associated catchments.
In his downtime, Amit loves bushwalking and experiencing the great outdoors on foot. He is a very keen follower of cricket and avid backyard vegetable grower. He also passionately practices yoga to enhance the alignment of his mind, body and spirit and aspires to use his learnings to help enhance his leadership skills.
