Rich currently serves as the environmental services business leader in our South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand geographies. He’s also our environmental services (ES) innovation leader, where he leads our creativity and innovation program and spearheads innovation commercialization efforts for new services.
As a senior vice president, Rich’s area of technical expertise lies in understanding and characterizing contaminant transport and fate processes in fractured sedimentary bedrock. Some of the challenges that he and our teams regularly face and overcome include working with different clients, cultures, regulations, currencies, time zones, and languages. Rich believes the best client relationships come from striking a balance between state-of-the-science, and pragmatic, time-proven solutions.
An avid sports fan, Rich cheers for his current hometown San Francisco Giants baseball team, and teams from his youth, the Pittsburg Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. Outside of work, he can be found happily laboring on his family’s horse ranch and riding his horse, Trudy. Rich continues pursuit of his bicycling hobby with any spare time that remains.
