As a senior hydraulics project engineer, Michael has experience in the design of hydraulic, fire, and stormwater services for high-rise buildings, hospitals, universities, schools, laboratories, as well as aged care, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical facilities.
Michael specialises in the hydraulic requirements for PC1, 2, and 3 laboratories, including specialised gases, water, drainage, compressed air, and vacuum drainage systems. He has more than 45 years of experience and is continually building on the knowledge gained from his 1991 thesis on water conservation in urban areas which has become more and more relevant in his work. On each project, Michael is deeply involved in the design concepts, plant selection, team communication and co-ordination, detailed design reviews, along with management of project staff and the project program.
