Manoj has led many water and energy projects in sub sectors including hydropower, solar, and power transmission and distribution as a principal engineer. His 16 years of professional project management experience covers the full project life cycle—from planning and design to construction supervision and commissioning phases—on international projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
He has led the preparation of feasibility studies including power potential optimization as well as economic and financial analysis. Manoj has also participated in electricity demand forecast studies, least cost generation expansion plans, and preparation of project transaction/structuring reports, and he’s been involved in business development and client service management responsibilities.
In his current role as the operations leader for our Power & Dams business within Stantec’s International Development Group, Manoj is responsible for the pursuit and delivery of international energy projects funded by the bilateral and multilateral donor agencies based out of Washington, DC. As a sector leader for our Power & Dams business in Nepal, he has led the growth of Stantec’s business in Nepal for more than five years.
