Ryan enjoys being able to watch projects come to life, happiest when his efforts come to fruition and his clients are satisfied with the outcome. Leading the Buildings team, he develops new business and client relationships while directing multidisciplinary projects and providing outstanding client service. He understands the importance of building performance—its contribution towards sustainability and its impact on a facility's whole-life cost.
Ryan is well-known for his energy and positive, can-do outlook, that are critical for solving complex engineering challenges and providing top-tier solutions. He’s engineered innovative mechanical design solutions on a diverse range of projects internationally. From working on a biological selenium removal facility in western Canada to one of the world’s largest ceramic membrane water reclamation facilities in Singapore, he’s also delivered on New Zealand’s highest-rated Green Star building.
Outside work, Ryan enjoys a round of golf and, as a native Canadian, appreciates exploring New Zealand's scenic countryside with his wife.
