Helen is a forward-thinking GIS professional specialising in a broad spectrum of marine and terrestrial data management, analysis and outputs. An experienced departmental and project manager with an enthusiasm for the integration and display of data and knowledge across a multitude of disciplines, she manages and contributes to site selection and feasibility studies. This includes the delivery of advanced cartographic outputs and design of bespoke data management plans.
Since its inception, Helen has contributed to the Hornsea Offshore Windfarm where she held a variety of roles from initial site selection, feasibility, and bid support, to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) support, pre-construction, survey charting of geophysical and ecological information, as well as data management and quality control.
Helen was also a Project Manager for Bedford & Milton Keynes Waterway Trust, where she provided GIS expertise to enable a GIS platform for the Trust to store and interact with the data, along with their route supporting decision making, and created a story map to support communication with their partners, local authorities, interested parties and the wider public.
