A senior associate and electrical engineer, Dejan has over 40 years of experience in design and project engineering, construction administration, and project management. His abundant experience couples well with his dedication to green building and energy efficiency as he creates unique and mindful projects that better the community.
Dejan’s passion for sustainable and innovative electrical engineering design can be seen in his completed projects, including the Whistler-Blackcomb PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, a record-breaking feat as it required designing an electrical system that could power the longest (4.3 kilometre) gondola project in the world at the time, and the Envision Certified Gold BCIT North Campus Infrastructure project. Dejan’s achievements in large infrastructure projects have propelled him forward throughout his career at Stantec—he’s led several of our largest post-secondary and airport projects.
When he’s not working, Dejan can be found keeping his body and mind fit by playing basketball, tennis, soccer, and golf, as well as constantly learning more about history, geography, and politics.
