As a transportation engineer specializing in road safety and roadway design, Marc-Antoine’s goal is simple: create safer roads for our communities. He loves the freedom and creativity achieved through a collaborative design process which results in thoughtful and comprehensive solutions for his client’s specific needs.

Leveraging his skills in roadway geometry, traffic engineering, traffic and speed limit management, guard rails, and signage, one of Marc-Antoine’s most notable projects is the reconstruction of the A-50 between Gatineau and Montreal, Quebec. With a high rate of head-on collisions, this section of highway posed a significant safety concern. Marc-Antoine’s cost-benefit analysis validated widening it from two lanes to a four-lane separated highway. To prevent more head-on collisions during construction, a high-tension cable barrier was installed between the opposing lanes—the first of its kind in Canada.

Marc-Antoine’s a proud new dad, and when he isn’t at the park with his family, you can find him at the top of the crease stopping shots or playing his favorite rock songs on guitar.
