With a career spanning over 27 years in consulting, major project delivery, and serving in the Royal Australian Navy, Damien’s worked across Australia and Southeast Asia in a variety of challenging roles. He has developed core technical capabilities in assurance, due diligence, and implementing sustainability elements within different project delivery models.
In addition to delivering technical services and identifying business opportunities, Damien’s involved in the development of infrastructure sustainability services, Environmental Social Governance (ESG) capability, and the creation of business development and project delivery services in the offshore wind sector in Australia. At the core of Damien’s ambition is his drive to combat climate change by influencing investments that accelerate the energy transition away from fossil fuels, towards a renewable energy future. A career highlight includes the development of an approvals and compliance function on a program of complex mining projects in remote Western Australia.
Although he’s not racing much these days, Damien enjoys cycling and running and can often be found landscaping at home on the weekends.
