Nick is a sustainable energy management consultant with over 12 years of experience in decarbonizing the built environment. A graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Mechanical Engineering program, he’s a professional engineer, a certified energy manager, certified measurement and verification professional, and a certified building commissioning professional.
Over the course of his career, Nick has focused on developing carbon neutral retrofit pathways, commissioning, net zero design, low carbon district energy systems, embodied carbon analysis, and lifecycle cost analysis. He’s also proficient with sustainability certifications, portfolio benchmarking, and beneficial electrification. Nick has worked on a variety of projects, including those that support the Government of Canada’s transition to net zero by 2050 through the Greening Government Strategy.
Outside of work, Nick loves travelling to places that combine his love of the outdoors with his love of food and beer. He has been to five of seven continents and hopes to visit them all.
