As a planning director in our Community Development group with over 30 years of experience, Huw provides professional town planning advice to developers, housebuilders, and commercial agents. He works on major mixed-use developments in the South East and East of England, regeneration of brownfield land, promotion of Garden Villages, and strategic allocations for residential and mixed-use development. He also serves as an expert witness at public inquiries and development plan examinations.
Huw currently acts as lead consultant of a consortium and multidisciplinary team, providing town planning services as part of the local planning authorities commitment to major planned growth. Additionally, he helped the council secure £170 million from the UK’s Housing Infrastructure Fund. The development will provide over 10,000 dwellings, mixed-use commercial, significant infrastructure, education, and other social and community facilities.
Outside of work, Huw can be found on his bicycle, in his vegetable patch, or running his two teenage daughters around.
