With more than two decades of experience as a mechanical technologist, Benjamin specializes in sports, recreation, and leisure facility design and planning. This includes feasibility studies, community engagement, conceptual development, design, construction, and facility commissioning all focused on achieving great solutions for clients and their communities.
Benjamin sees sports and recreation facilities as critical infrastructure—they act as hubs that help communities grow and the people within them to connect and gain new lifelong skills. He enjoys talking to clients and sharing their excitement about what their projects can accomplish through sustainable design.
When Benjamin isn't working on recreation facilities, he is enjoying using them—he loves the experience of swimming in a new pool he worked on. In his spare time, he also enjoys skiing/snowboarding, crafting leather, reading, listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with his nephews.
