As a senior designer experienced in architectural design and construction management, Edson has been involved in conceptual design and design development for several residential and commercial projects.
Prior to joining Stantec, Edson was an architect with his own firm in Brazil and has also worked as a construction manager and a professor at the Brazil’s Federal University of Sergipe in the architecture and urbanism program. In Canada, Edson has also worked for a timber bridge design company. He has a post graduate degree in city management and urban planning and has been involved in volunteer work in this field since university. Recently, Edson is dedicating time to learn SCRUM, develop his skills on software like Revit and Dynamo, and learn more about generative and computational design technology.
When not supporting Stantec’s design and project management team, Edson enjoys activities with his family, Brazilian music, instruments, reading and learning.
