Daniel has experience managing and working on numerous GIS projects, including data management design, geospatial analysis, GIS platform setup, and cartography. He is particularly skilled at applying GIS to environmental assessment projects for both government and private clients.
Using the ArcGIS Online platform across various development projects, Daniel identifies and analyzes project requirements and technologies required for the best data management solutions. He enjoys bringing the technology into a simple platform that clients can use with different levels of expertise. Recently, he designed and developed a web mapping platform and cultural asset database for the Cultural Alliance in the Heart of Georgian Bay project aimed at highlighting cultural assets. This asset mapping framework allows the community to be directly involved in identifying their cultural assets.
When not working, Daniel enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing and camping with his two kids in Northern Ontario.
