As vice president of emerging markets, Loren manages our international development team based in Washington DC where he leverages his more than 25 years of project, policy, and management experience. He’s a member of the International Council of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and manages our Company’s partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities initiative, which promotes more resilient and sustainable cities worldwide.
Loren specializes in working with donors, development banks, and private clients to help implement water, power, and natural resource-focused development programs, as well as community engagement initiatives and sustainability strategies in developing countries. He’s a leader in fostering innovative, public-private partnerships that address global environmental and development priorities.
Working closely with our international development teams in Brussels and Turkey, Loren is also responsible for cultivating strategic markets, projects, and partnerships to expand the company’s international development business, broaden its client portfolio, and strengthen brand awareness. He also represents Stantec on the advisory board of the Harvard Zofnass Sustainable Infrastructure Program, which is working to establish the environmental, social, institutional, and economic sustainability of large infrastructure projects in the US and abroad.
