As a principal science advisor and board-certified toxicologist, Heather focuses on developing business and leading multi-disciplinary health risk assessment projects with diverse technical teams. She says one of the best parts of her job is always being challenged by new and exciting projects.
Having prior experience working for government agencies managing large, chemical-specific risk assessments, Heather brings considerable experience in the nuances of regulatory risk assessment to her work—she’s versed in the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Toxic Substances Control Act and the Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS). She’s also skilled in systematic review methods and the toxicity of persistent pollutants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Currently, she leads the emerging contaminants initiative for ChemRisk.
In her spare moments, Heather enjoys figure skating, baking, and playing with her two daughters.
